At the June 17, 2021 BPAC meeting, Walk Oakland Bike Oakland (WOBO) reported on the outcome of the May 21, 2021 Bike to Wherever Day (BTWD) celebrations in Oakland. In coping with the pandemic, the annual Bike to Work Day was transformed into Bike to Wherever Day with a celebration at Lake Merritt. Pedal pools came from across Oakland and the event was attended by a broad range of people and children.
