| 3 | 3:50 | LAMMPS Projects Design Review (30 minutes) Oakland DOT staff will provide an update and 65% design review for the Laurel Access to Mills, Maxwell Park and Seminary (LAMMPS) projects Phase 2 and Phase 3. These projects will create a 1.7- mile off-street walking and biking path along MacArthur Boulevard and Seminary Avenue, along with bus stop improvements and pedestrian safety upgrades at intersections and crossings. | ||
| 4 | 4:20 | 73rd Ave Active Transportation Program Application Review (30 minutes) In Spring 2026, Oakland DOT is applying for funding through the state Active Transportation Program (ATP) to implement the 73rd Avenue Active Routes to Transit median pathway project. Staff will provide a review of the concept plan to be included with the grant application. | ||
| 5 | 4:50 | Flashing Beacons and Street Lights Maintenance Discussion (30 minutes) Oakland has been experiencing significant issues with street light and pedestrian flashing beacon outages due to vandalism or damage from car crashes. Committee members will lead a discussion with Oakland DOT staff to learn about the main issues impacting timely repairs, and preventative steps to resist outages. | ||
