2	3:45	Public Comment (10 minutes) Members of the public may comment on any issue within BPAC Infrastructure Committee’s subject matter jurisdiction. Comments on a scheduled agenda item will be heard with that item. To request City services, please contact the City of Oakland Call Center (311).
3	3:55	Embarcadero West Rail Safety and Access Improvements Project (30 minutes) Celina Chan and Michelle Stevens, staff from OakDOT’s Major Projects Division will provide updates on the Embarcadero West Rail Safety and Access Improvements project, including presenting on the 35% Design Community Engagement Report [PDF], and facilitating a review of 35% design details, with particular focus on bike and pedestrian crossings.
4	4:25	Bicycling and Pedestrian Infrastructure Design Details and Supplemental Guidance (45 minutes) Jason Patton and David Pené, Oakland DOT staff will provide an overview of Oakland’s existing design details for bicycling and pedestrian facilities with a focus on updates published in 2024. The committee cochairs will then lead a discussion soliciting questions from the group and ideas for additional design guidance opportunities relating to street markings, signage, and other typical treatments.
