Applications open for BPAC Commissioners

Apply to be a BPAC Commissioner for a 3-year term starting January 2026!

Submit your application by 5 pm Thursday, September 11, 2025. You will need to provide your resumé and a description of your interests in serving on this commission.

Minimum Qualifications: The applicant must live in Oakland and have a demonstrated history of professional and/or community involvement with bicyclist and/or pedestrian issues. In selecting commissioners, the Mayor will strive for equity and geographic representation of Oakland’s neighborhoods.
