BPAC Open House / Meet and Greet
Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Cesar Chavez Library Meeting Room, near Fruitvale BART (César E. Chávez Branch 3301 East 12th Street, Suite 271).
The BPAC is seeking applications for new commissioners to start 3-year terms in January 2025. Applications are due Thursday, September 12, 2024. If you have any questions, please contact OakDOT staff liaison to the BPAC Noel Pond-Danchik.
The Oakland BPAC is holding a meet & greet event for interested applicants to meet current Commissioners and answer questions. It will be held at the Oakland Public Library: César E. Chávez Branch (3301 E 12th St #271, Oakland, near Fruitvale BART) at 6:30-7:30pm on Wednesday, August 23.
At the October 15, 2020 BPAC meeting, the 2021 Recruitment Committee reported back with recommendations from its review of applications of people seeking to be appointed to the BPAC. The committee is recommending Michael Lok, David Ralston, and Jeremiah Maller (alternate) be appointed for the 2021-2023 term. Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council.
