| 6:15 | 4 | Open Forum / Public Comment (10 minutes)—Members of the public may comment on any issue within BPAC’s subject matter jurisdiction. Comments on a scheduled agenda item will be heard with that item. The BPAC’s Open Forum Committee tracks Open Forum issues raised by the public. (See tinyurl.com/Oakland-BPAC-OpenForumTracking.) The Committee reviews the public comments on a periodic basis to identify policy issues for discussion by the Commission. An item on the program was heard at the Public Works Committee of City Council on February 11th, 2020 and the agenda report from that item is attached. |
| 7:00 | 7 | Biannual Report from Strategic Planning Attachment (25 minutes)—Laura Kaminski, Acting Strategic Planning Manager, will give an update on the General Plan Update, Senate Bill 2 (SB2) Grant – Objective Design Standards, and Assembly Bill 1763 (AB1763) – “Super Density Bonus.” The agenda report and resolution that went to City Council to apply for the SB2 Grant is attached and more information on AB1763 can be found at https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billVersionsCompareClient.xhtml?bill_id=201920200AB1763. |
