At the December 03, 2020 Infrastructure Committee meeting, Manuel Corona gave a presentation on the Intermodal Terminal Coliseum BART/Transit Village Area Improvements.
Notes from the discussion, and the presentation are below.
Discussion
- Glad to see Hawley getting paved, it’s been in bad condition for a long time
- New development is coming on Hawley. Is there any opportunity to negotiate more sidewalk width? 6’ might be too narrow.
- Will look into it, may be opportunity with other affordable housing project construction coming soon.
- Can this project fund more bike parking/storage at Lion’s Creek?
- Not via this project because the grantfunding is already earmarked, but will look into other opportunities
